Fariel has a unique expertise combining strong science & communication, creative vision and strategic thinking, all aimed at building awareness, understanding and a strong competitive advantage.
Her deep team spirit has been expressed throughout her career, in her activities of managing external partnerships and collaboration. She is comfortable in complex, cross-functional and multicultural environments.
Fariel has a PhD in Genetics and General Physiology and has completed her range of expertise with a Cambridge University Postgraduate Certificate in Business Sustainability Management.
Always driven by innovation, she is also a patent inventor registered with the Institut Pasteur of Paris, aimed at reducing the symptoms of cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease for which a curative treatment is still being investigated.
Fariel is also the author of a book on gene therapy as well as several scientific publications in major international peer-reviewed journals.
Fariel is also passionate about Outsider Art and Andalusian music.
